Muay Thai, originating in Thailand is referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” or the “Science Of Eight Limbs” because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight “points of contact”, as opposed to “two points” (fists) in Western boxing and “four points” (hands and feet) used in sport-oriented martial arts. Muay Thai is a challenging art that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. It is widely recognized as the most effective form of striking in the world.

Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai techniques are combined and blended with Greco Roman clinch wrestling to give students a wide array of effective striking weapons on their feet. Shoot-boxing, sprawling and brawling are emphasized to teach students to be able to transition smoothly from striking to grappling and from stand up to the ground game. Students drill MMA style striking that can be used in a street-fight or cage situations.
